Preparing for your Lakeland Face Lift
There are many different kinds of face lift procedures. The best procedure depends on the needs of the patient, so the patient needs to be familiar with the different types. What is the difference between the mini lift, and the mid face lift? What procedure is best?? Well with your Lakeland Face Lift, again it depends on the needs of the patient. Lets look at what the different procedures entail.
For the Mini Face Lift, also known as a Quick lift, S-lift or a lifestyle lift, is a technique of lifting the face but with less skin removal and smaller, shorter incisions. The mini face lift focuses on the cheekbone area like all the other types of face lifts but this procedure does not improve the face as well as a full face lift would. If the patient has minimal skin laxity they will be a better candidate. This procedure has incisions that are closer to the hairline and going around or behind the ear.
The Mid Face Lift are ideal for patients that are experiencing the symptoms of early aging, typically patients in their 40s to 50s. As the middle of the face starts to flatten and loose fat, the cheeks seem to become less full and sag downwards, creating the hollow look under neath the eyelids. This procedure is for patients that do not have lots of excess skin on the jowls or neck. The purpose of this procedure is to restore the cheeks to a younger, more full look. Recovery for this procedure is also much quicker and less painful than that of a full face lift.
